Hi, my boyfriend got me a chinchilla last xmas. He is about a year old, grey and gorgeous. He seems really happy and is well cared for and dearly loved. He gets out almost everynight for exercise and play time. We both work and study fulltime so we generally are in bed by ten most nights and think its an awfully long time to leave him alone in his cage. He has toys and a animal teddy which he cuddles when sleeping. We would like to pair him up with another chinchilla but are unsure how he would take to another male as he has been on his own for so long. Would he view another chinchilla as a potential threat? Does anyone have any advice for us? |
