HI ALL ! WE'RE STILL ROCKIN ON TOUR!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,
Been a while since I last wrote, as I've been busier than a fox in a hen house.

We had a great time at the American Festival in Vanse, Norway. We did quite a few shows, with just acoustic and then with the full band. Tyler was in great form and the crowd especially liked his rockin cool presence on stage...I was huffing and puffing to keep up with him!!

I want to thank my friends Svein & Liv Siri for their hospitality while playing Vanse. As always, they were as lovely as could be and really made us feel at home. thanks, gang!

While in Vanse, I got to play with British singer Johnny Silvo and his tremendous guitarist, Norway's top picker, Hans Graasvold. It was tons of fun picking folk & blues classics with these 2 veterans.
I also played with blues singer Daryl McDade, who's style was very remenicent of Taj Mahal's. He was simply fantastic and both Ty and I enjoyed jamming with him at 8th Avenue Club.

Another great gig, and the one I was really looking forward to, was at the Hilltop Festival with my dear old buddy from Nashville, the great Freddy Weller.
It had been years since we had seen each other. And the last time he and his lovely wife Pippy had seen Tyler, he was 4 years old. But they all remembered each other and we had a sensational reunion.
The shows with Freddy and I smoked!! It rained a little, but we rocked the place while the fans 2 stepped in the mud and water. It was the best of nights, one I will always cherish forever.

Along the way I played a series of clubs and concerts with a TV appearance thrown in. Its been a busy schedual but I'm grateful that folks still want to come out and see me. I hope everyone enjoyed the shows.

My good ol friend Arly Karlsen, Norway's top country artist, and I played a few acoustic dates together, swapping songs and stories to a delighted crowd. Arly is great talent and so much fun to perform with.

I also performed a religious festival at Sarons Dal in Kvinesdal. Many of you many already know that I wrote the Gospel hit "Isn't It Amazing", which remains a top song at many churches around the world.
This time, I appreared before a few thousand folks and TV cameras and sang the song with my dear friend, and top singer, Nina Hunksgaard, who's sweet voice sounded so beautiful along with my own. The folks loved it and I felt honored to be asked to perform "Isn't It Amazing" for so many people.
Mile and miles and songs and songs in between some much needed time off.

We have covered alot of ground, here in Norway. It's been a real thrill to see the size of the crowds getting bigger and the offers to perform increasing. Very exciting for Berit ans I.

I will be recording a new single here in Norway in a week. Its called "EDDIE'S GOT A GUN". The track was recorded in Texas, but we are adding the background parts here in Kristiansand. This song rocks!!!

Thanks to a few very important people for making this tour be such a success. First of all my dear manager Berit Goversten who's drive and energy amazes me. Secondly to my friend Tor Einer Jacobsen for providing me with the acoustic guitars, as well as with Tyler's bass. Thanks my friend!!!! What a help you've been.
Also, my drummer and great buddy, the great Bruce Rasmussen, Kristiansand's number one drummer. What a thrill to have him up there behind Tyler and I. He's a rock!!!
Also,as alwsy, my dear friend and webmaster Lotta, for keeping up with the site. Kisses to you, sweetie!!
And a hug to our dear pal Liz, who's always fun to see at the gigs. We love ya, Liz!!!!!

Also, a very special thanks to my Canadian fans who keep visiting my website. And just think, I was once told that "nobody was interested" in me up there. (wink)

Frank really rolled out the red carpet and made all of us feel like damned rock stars.

I am soo happy everything is working out so well over there. I know how much you looked forward to it and I am with you every step of the way in my mind. In the meanwhile I eat my heart out for not being able to go... but there is a time for everything...

I KNEW you were singing "Isn't It Amazing" when I saw the pic of you and Nina and I have goosebumps just thinking of what could have been and how wonderful is now must have sounded with the two of you together. You recorded it, right?? Wish I was there!!!!

For readers and visitors, please know the site will be updated in a day or so.. Everything is on its merry way :):)

Keep it up... and be happy for having such a great and capable manager with so much knowledge who really makes things happen. It can't hurt that she is pretty too :)
