A little of both.

I am not a member of this group however I have done investigations and have been the subject of several hauntings in my life time I have found that faith based protocols have saved my butt a couple of times so when all else fails you can always count on it but since I dont know exactly what I am looking for (and niether does anyone else!) I have recently taken a scientific approach using the traditional scientific methods and testing theories I have based on personal experience

I, personally, follow a faith based approach (But what faith? Hmm...), however, I am a scientific thinker. Therefore, I like groups that use Scientific methods better than faith based ones (Partially because science is uniform. I know I would have problems finding people who share my particular beliefs, though I could probably adapt to whatever was being used at the time).

Again, however, Science is better, imho, than faith if you ever plan to show any evidence to anyone who doesnt happen to share these particular beliefs and not look like a crackpot. Heh.

Its sorta sad that we get viewed this way, huh?
