Misc. Code 3, Corgi etc. for sale.
Today I am listing an assortment of excess die cast emergency vehicles for sale from a variety of manufacturers. I hate to sell anything off, but with the cost of living skyrocketing this is necessary at this point. I prefer money orders as payment.
All items come from a child free, smoke free home.
Thanks for looking!

Re: Misc. Code 3, Corgi etc. for sale.
I'll apologize in advance if I'm wrong, but your name wouldn't happen to be Gary Parrot, would it? Your screen name is very similar to the Gary Parrot whose hide is wanted by many who have been defrauded on other forums.
This is from the new Code 3 forum, and also appeared on fdnyengines.net:
"The poster here (WMassFireBuff)is none other than Gary Parrott from West Springfield MA. Gary is not moving to North Carolina, and probably does not have in his posession the items he claims he has for sale. Gary has been convicted once already of this sort of scam in Springfield District Court and is required to pay court ordered restitution, which he to this day has not. He has pulled this same stunt on another forum this past fall, and caused many people much time and heartache trying to recover money they spent on items he intentionally did not ship. When the police got involved, it took Gary Parrott weeks to ship the items. When he did ship the ones he actually had, he intentionally did not package them very well, and everything arrived broken beyond use if it ever arrived at all. Then to show you what a stand up guy this "poser" is, he sent a police ordered restitution check to one of the people involved in his scam, and it was from a bogus account. Gary is about as stupid a person as I have ever encountered. He is using the same screen name (WMassFireBuff) as he did on http://FireEngines.net, and more recently http://FirePics.net where he was removed pending another criminal investigation in to stealing copyrighted photos from a newspaper and claiming them as his own. To anyone that reads this forum, never do business with anyone using WMassFireBuff as a screen name. To Code 3 moderators, do not delete his post, the police in West Springfield Mass will want to come have a look. Beware......."
Like I said, my apologies if I'm wrong.

From the looks of the spelling and grammar on this posting, no way it could be him unless he has a proof reader.

Re: Misc. Code 3, Corgi etc. for sale.
No, I am not the infamous Gary Parrot. I'm 10 years too old, and live 2 hours too far east. And as I had hoped grammar and punctuation set us apart, although I haven't won and spelling bees lately. I'm sure my name raises a few eyebrows, but I've been using it since about 2000 or so I'm not giving it up because of him.
As a side note, there is another fellow out there on several fire related forums as well with a similar name "WMAFirebuff" a kid by the name of Nate (I won't post his full name) who's username could easily be confused with Gary's as well. I do agree it is good so many people are aware of his behavior and are on the lookout for it.
Ever notice all the crooks out there ripping people off on these boards are the 17-18 year olds with horrific grammar, who sometimes like to impersonate firefighters or other authorities? I know Gary and the Coug are the first that come to mind, but I recall several similar instances with other people as well.

Well, your spelling is definately OK, but if you dont mind me being blunt, if you are aware of the bad publicity about the similar screen name, and on principle you dont want to change it, then you must be incredibly stupid to think that if you keep it, you are going to sell anything.
