Getting out of the hobby - Delivery in person - Instant Collection

Getting married - lotsa bills - starting a new (expensive) hobby (photography). I am probably getting rid of the rest of my collection, which consists of chicago police and fire diecast, along with a few large scales. I will start with the large scale first -

Code 3 Squad 61
Code 3 Ladder 10
Franklin Mint Snorkel (Snorkel 1) (white boom/red body)
Franklin Mint Ladder (Tower 1) (white cab, red body)
Philly Squirt 57

All have been stored in a curio and excellent condition. I will hand deliver within 20 miles of Chicago/suburbs. NO packaging, stands, inserts....etc etc. Only minor flaw was on the Snorkel - the deck gun was broke (cleanly off) when originally received. Nothing a little glue couldn't fix. Only noticable if you are looking for it. Asking $500 for all. And I will throw in at no charge, a First Gear chicago ambulance (large scale), along with a Franklin Mint Rescue Helicopter, with numbered stand. Helicopter is Red over White, Fire/Rescue copter 2 (large scale). Please contact me at above email. If successful, I will put the remainder of the chicago code 3 up as a set, including some Corgi and Athearn 1/50th pieces.

Flame -

I'm going to have to decline your request to have these items shipped. Based on past experience, it would cost me well over $100 for shipping, as I have no box or shipping materials. In order to even remotely have a chance at shipping them with even minimal damage, I would have to take them to mailboxes etc, or the UPS store..whatever they are calling it now. Just for the weight of the shipment alone, it would significant to ship these. In any event, due to not having the original shipping materials, the only way I will sell these is in person. Sorry.

Philly squirt and ladder 10 spoken for. Anyone else want anything?

It would help if you had a spare or duplicate box. Now willing to mail them for the right offers.

Apparently my "additional" or clarification question did not make it to you. I'm wondering if I hit the wrong button when I attempted to reply to your response regarding my original question???

In any event Joe, I just resent my second question. Sorry for any inconvenience to you.
