Subject:   What I'd do for love . . .

Message:   This may not seem like such a worth-while cause, but I'll give it a shot.

I'm 16, searching for a job, and unable to find one. Unfortunately, all the jobs in town are either taken or require someone 18+. Yes, I've tried grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and pretty much everywhere else.

What I'm saving for is a promise ring for my girlfriend . . . I know, I should be able to pay for this myself, but I can't; I have no money.

She's moving next month to about 14 hours away, and since I don't have a job, I can't visit her very often. I plan on visiting her for Christmas though, and I wanted to give her the ring then...

Here's the ring I want to get her, it's $300. Yes, that's alot for kids our age, I know . . . but I want to show her how much I love her . . .

I know you all probably have better uses for your money, but please help. Thanks so much for any help you give.
