My thanks to all those who made my first trip to Faunsdale a major good time . From arrival Friday AM 'til departure early Sunday , I enjoyed virtually every minute . I think we had the best band of the weekend on the back 40 , and I'll hope to see "Mississippi New Red Sand " band (AKA Bob,Bob,and NotBob ) on the main stage next time .
The one disappointment was the disruption of the T contest by Marengo deputies . Regarding the survey question , I'd hate to see those under 18 excluded in the future .The kids that were there were not a problem , as far as I saw , and a little pre-planning (maybe different-colored armbands ) would make it easy to exclude them from adult-oriented events , hopefully satisfying the local gendarmes .Anyway , I had a great time , and I'll be back in the fall . Thanks again to all who worked so hard to make it a top-drawer event .
