it seems all the media and hype slowed down and stopped about brian
why did all the media stop over brians murder? there are too many broken promises and false statements about a new investigation. I did speak to the sussex police and i was informed that too many people are making money off brians death and name, and his immediate family are not involved. There is no new investigation in sight they said. It feels like we all got our hopes up for nothing (no affense to anyone or any fanclub) We (members of this forum) should start working on it ourselves im willing to do it mike c keep up the good work leo and brenda and all on this forum |

Hi Mike, The police have not reopened the case. Trevor is the one who is investigating Brian's death and trying to get the case reopened. But the police don't want to rehash all that. So there are barriers to trying to get the case reopened. As far as I know, the family is not involved per se, but Pat Andrews and Brian's kids do support Trevor's cause. I don't know why the media has backed off, I had thought there would be increasing exposure in the media and increasing pressure that way for the police to reopen the case. I guess the media is waiting for some kind of break in the case before reporting something in the news. Kind of a stalemate. This will take some time I think. But Trevor is making progress, even if he can't report it to all of us, to protect the privacy of the case. |

hi brenda and leo happy halloween i have trusted trevor and tried to help him as best as i could for a while.i mean no affense to him or the aftermath which i am a member of.There has just been alot of conflicting stories and a few other things.the only thing i want and i think we all want the same ,is that brians murder be resolved and his name cleared .i really hope that all that was said is true,but you have to understand i have studied ,researched and left myself sometimes broke researching brians death for over 7 years and not just reading books.i done the same and are still doing the same for jimi hendrix.i really hope all this is resolved and all the claims (the carpet fitter,new witnesses are true,but i explained and spoke with the sussex police and my friend who is a detective for the nypd who is also into classic rock history,and all of this was told to them and they are aware of all the new claims. im only a admirer of brians and only want his death resolved. happy halloween mike c |

Mike, I'd like to hear your responses to my questions in my email. Can you be more specific about your reasons for doubting Trevor, and why/how you came to be assisting Trevor, and how/why you were doing an independant investigation of both Brian's and Jimi's death? I guess time will tell, but how much time we don't know, and that's the frustrating part for all of us. The waiting and hoping and keeping the faith. Trevor's made himself available to me whenever I have questions etc., so he has been open. Trevor has always seemed to have integrity. There are some people out there who have attempted to slander him, usually the ones who are opposed to a theory that Brian may have been murdered, and the other old bj fan club run under David Reynolds and his friend Tom Keylock. I have been contacted over the years by 2 people who have said lies about Trevor in an effort to turn bj fans against him. I hope that Trevor will respond directly here. As I've said before, this may be a long haul but last I spoke to Trevor he was optimistic and positive that whichever route is taken, in the end it will shed more light on his death. Has anyone heard from Trevor lately? |

Brenda, Thanks for your support and expressing your confidence in what we’re doing over here. We’ve had to keep things very close to our chest but have made considerable advances over the last six months. It has been frustrating not to share everything with all the good people who support Brian’s memory and just want the truth, and if it’s frustrating for us it must be ten times worse for those of you so far away. Roxanne lives barely a mile away from me now and she gives me hell for not being able to tell her things, no seriously, she as many of you understand the sensitiveness of what we might have. For over 6 months now our strategy has been directed by our lawyer who is aware, along with our cold case and forensic company and the BBC of all developments and yesterday (Friday) was a benchmark in this whole scenario. I’ve published a new page on our website http://www.brianjonesfanclub.com/inside_out.htm For the past 3½ years it’s been an uphill struggle but yesterday I believe we reached the summit and the positive momentum is now about to start as we put all our research to the authorities. There is still a way to go and nothing is for certain but we believe we now have the tools to achieve the job. I know there are still going to be those who doubt us and will ridicule what we’re doing, well let them have their day, I’m certain we’ll have ours. Stephen Woolley is reputed to have undertaken 10 years research and I didn’t hear many people criticising him, well that is, not until Stoned premiered. I’m confident that with the new evidence we have, our efforts are going to provide the truth behind Brian’s death. |

hi all i can say is that i never did anything wrong or said anything wrong to trevor and the aftermath or anyone else on any forum including this one. I dont want to be singled out for anything. i am a member of the aftermath and i tried to help out. i was called a nut for it and other stuff.and i have spoke to alot of people and researched alot on brian. Jimi hendrixs death is allitle more complicated,and i have done the same for him. there has been alot of stuff said about brians death from different people.As i stated,my friend and myself spoke to sussex police and they were nice enough to talk with us. other than that all i want is for the truth to finally be told about brians death and his killers and people responsible arrested. i have nothing i repeat nothing bad to say about trevor you or anyone on these forums(not including the spirit) i already had one too many words with d.r. i am not a nut or anything else i was called and i would do anything for anyone regarding brian jones. take care brenda and trevor mike c |

Hi Trevor, thanks for responding and putting up that page update. Mike C, you're still welcome here. On a public forum we need to have open discussions from both parties to get a balanced view of the situation. I know alot of other stones and brian jones fans have been asking what the current status is, so in a way it's good you asked....and we all need to be patient and know that progress is being made behind the scenes. |
