Spelt easier to swallow than wheat
I've found that simply substituting spelt flour for wheat flour in receipes often makes bread, cakes etc. a lot easier to eat. Spelt flour is almost gluten free, so it's not as adhesive/gluey as wheat flour. Also, it is so tasty you'd never go back to wheat. There are some great receipes at this site. Nothing nicer than toasted spelt bread with scrambled eggs in the morning! |
