The Gold Nugget AR will be held October 7, 2006 in the Uwharrie National Forest in central NC. The event features 3 and 8 hour courses, making it suitable for those new to AR as well as those more experienced.

Message:   Our current plans are to provide racers with hard-shell recreational kayaks for the race. If the number of participants gets too high, we may have to go to Plan B and use canoes for one of the events (either the 3 or 8 hour course).
