DIGITAL AUDIO CLASSES





For all those who have been clamoring to learn more about Basement Recordings' approach to recording the steel pan, Basement Recordings will begin it's popular digital music recordings classes on Saturday November 2nd... Registration is underway...





Level One digital audio classes will focus on digital music technology, MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface), digital audio and how computers and music work together. In addition, Basement Recordings will provide an indepth look at it's revolutionary "box and one" technique for recording the steel pan.





Topics to be covered: streaming media, mic placement, mixing, steel drum audio capturing, sequencers, sound modules, synthesizers, audio for the internet, sampling, and computers' peripherals just to name a few.





Classes will continue to remain small and personal... This class assumes no previous knowledge...
