I'm still celebrating having located my mother's uncle, Lt. Col. Fred Murray in Fort Worth. He served in WWII and probably earlier wars & was based in Tarrant Co., TX some ways from his native Iowa. He died 6 Sep., 1961 at the Ft. Worth Hospital of a coronary occlusion. Born 11 June, 1889 in Monona Co., IA, one of a dz. children: Cleo R., Cecil M., Clifford Claude, Wm. Js., Earl David, Eva Helen, Margaret Pearl, Lulu Ruth, Edith Gertrude and Florence I. Intermarried with Rodgers, Wyland, Eastman, Dickerson, Lindley. Now I am looking for Fred's wife Margaret and information on their marriage. I hope someone recognizes these Murrays as theirs too.
