Mad4wd.com XJ steering brace

Anyone know about this product? I like the fact that it's a bolt on no cutting, drilling or welding. Is this true?
Have you guys been running the Rally cross without a steering brace? No problems?

Re: Mad4wd.com XJ steering brace

The brace uses the same hole that the Daystar bumper uses on the sub-frame. There is a spacer to support the inside of the sub-frame. This should be a good design. I use the Rusty's with 3 bolt holes and a bit of drilling is required.

Did you contact Larry about getting you the steering stabilizer? What was the cost,I might order one also? He will be gone next week so you need to order it soon. I will be using the bilstein shocks he sends
next week if all goes right.

Re: Re: Mad4wd.com XJ steering brace

Talked to Larry, said he didn't have steering stabilizer, doing some testing.

The steering brace Larry wasn't 100% sure it was a direct bolt-on, so I got the one from T&J, they are 100% sure it's a bolt-on. I also picked up a Rancho stabilizer from them also. Hopefully it will be here next week.

All I need is a bushing for my front driver side shock.
