JeepSpeedEast added its 5th driver of record this year to the race this weekend at RallyPark NorthEast Lunar Eclipse Rally. Florencio (spydah) had a very good showing for his first race. He took either first or second place and we will know officially when RPNE post the final times.
Chuck my CO-driver even ran a last stage exhibition run to get the feel of driving for Team Wile E. His time was a respectable - unofficial time of 3.02.
Course conditions were very loose do to the large turn out for the RallySprints the day before. The Sprint drivers were pushing there cars to the limit causing both deteriorated road services and miscalculations. JeepSpeed extracted a few cars during its duties providing sweep vehicles. Luckily the only roll (Full Flip) over did not cause any bodily injury. The car was badly damaged but was still able to travel on its own power.
