The fact that the model comes with a magazine is similar to other series of emergency vehicles released by Norev, Hongwell, Del Prado and de Agostini. I can't believe this one will only have a piece of a model with each magazine! Who is going to want to wait more than a year to complete a model fire truck?! What are you supposed to do until the final issue, display the individual parts or the truck with pieces missing? If this is true it's got to be one of the all-time bonehead marketing ideas, or else the Europeans' idea of collecting is a lot different than it is over here...
I once started to build a kit of the Titanic this way. But after a few weeks, issues were missing and it was hard to back-order them. I ended up with a few booklets and some unfinished parts in the dust bin!
I can speak and read Italian, first one is € 4,99 ($ 6,50), rest € 10,99 ($14,50), 75 items , so if the dollar keeps high, around $1000 ex shipping. Rememb er you pay at least 50% for the magazines, in Italian, which will use a lot of text and pictures featured in the del prado firetrucks and firemen series.
