Iwas talking to a person who is from a Japanese style, his Naihanji is completely different from TSD, some look left some right to start.
So how many variations are there?? and why?

Was he Isshin Ryu ? Shimabuku Sensei changed the kata to go in the complete opposite direction . He made other changes to the Kata like Nukite (spearhand) , instead of the short punch , an opend handed block , instead of the anheso pahkero mahkee , etc .
Pretty much every sect of Shorin Ryu does them different , dunno why .
