Re: Does this happen to anyone?

Me too!

Wish I didn't but glad to know that I'm not alone!

Re: Does this happen to anyone?

I don't actually have any pain during this. It's just a torturous sensation...worse than pain actually. If it could be implemented in interrogations people would talk fast! It's one of the few times in my life I've screamed to someone "Don't touch me!!!!"

Re: Does this happen to anyone?

I've always had that happen. Is it due to MC or does it happen to everyone? I never thought of it as being abnormal I guess, not that I've ever discussed it with anyone though LOL.

If an arm or leg falls asleep when I'm in bed and I wake up and realize, I don't usually even try getting up until it passes!

Type of Myotonia: undiagnosed

Country: United States

Re: Does this happen to anyone?

Jaimie:

I used to think it was normal growing up, but I wondered why no one else seemed to freeze at the thought of impending torture. Most people seem to shake the limb when it's fallen asleep, which is something I can't imagine they'd do if they get the same sensation that I do.

Type of Myotonia: Becker Myotonia (alas!)
