Re: availability Mexitil

ON the question of Mexilitine availability, I had it confirmed last year that production was being suspended in Britain. I had to come off the drug and try alternatives, Baclofen and Clonezapam; neither of which worked.

In July my neurologist managed to locate a reliable source in the UK so I’m back on Mexitiline again and feeling much better for it. My pharmacist is confident that this source will be able to meet my needs.

Pete,

What dose are you on ? Tried it in the past with no success whatsoever.

Re: availability Mexitil

I take 100mg 3 times a day.

I've found Mexitil to be the best drug for alleviating the MC symptoms. It does not suppress them totally but it does allow me to move around much more freely.

I'm in Hull by the way.
