I agree - it really is important for you to have the genetic testing, since your mother was unclearly diagnosed, and you don't know if what affected her was unrelated, or perhaps hereditary. ... and, if hereditary, you need to know what to be looking for in yourself, so that you can hopefully treat your self more proactively. lois

Right now I am waiting on my Dr. to set things up. I have tried to contact them and have not heard back. Hopefully they will get on with it soon. Things tend to move really slow in Mississippi. Thanks to all for your concern. How long does it usually take to get results back from the lab on genetic testing?
