That's interesting about the daikon radish being the problem for you. I have eaten raw daikon many times with no problem, but I wonder if there was something added to the daikon as a preservative or dressing.

I think the stiffness from salmon is probably more related to my poor tolerance for longer chain fatty acids because of a mitochondrial disease. If I take the amino acid L-Carnitine, I do much better. Some with MC have told me that their myotonia improved after taking carnitine, so we may have a higher requirement for carnitine since our muscles are constantly firing.
