Do any of you use a smartboard in your classes? I have tried it a couple of times, especially when teaching new sports to my HS PE classes. I have a lot to learn, but am eager to learn because I feel that this would be a great tool to provide a visual to my classes. Just curious if there are any PE teachers who find the smartboard to be useful in the gym.

I teach elementary PE and do not use the smartboard for instruction. In my experience, it is much easier explain a skill/activity using student demonstration. I will use the smartboard/projector to bring up media for visuals for the students and to aid explanation.

I have found that the SmartBoard has much more potential when teaching health.

I use mine as a center in the gym. So students have a better opportunity to learn. Students who rotate to the center are about to use it to complete a learning task.
