FDNY Ladder 10
FDNY Engine 10
NYPD International/Saulsbury ESV
Violetville ALF Engine
Both Baltimore Tillers
Jersey City ALF Ladder
Chicago Mack C E-18
The Chicago squads are very nice(& yes, I only have 1 pair!), & the Skywalker diamond plate made for the best kit-bash subject.(still not done though & received it as a gift when it was dumped off on sale last year)
I posted this in wrong string earlier. After the Dearborn DAIL 911, I would have to say the Fire Bell Suburban is my most cherished Code 3. Really not much to look at, just an extra tampoed hood badge on a FDNY Sub. But it came in a "Mailer Box".
I would also have to give Honorable Mention to The ATEV DC Spring Fling Suburban. Only about a dozen were handed out after a visit to two DC Fire Stations during an ATEV trip back in 2000. Model is a converted DC Suburban, with extra script on the hood.
Well, I was vocal in lobbying for the superpumper, so that tops my list. But also on it are:
FDNY E-34 ALF
FDNY E-10
FDNY ladder 10
Princeton NJ Pierce Dash
Cedar Hill Texas Peirce Top Mount
Orlando Sutphen Ladder
I think in the past there was more emphasis on a realistic model of an honest to goodness real working engine, with the added bonus of a striking colour scheme - kind of thing you find in Fire Apparatus Journal. Hopefully that will become the core of the line up once again.
1. Super Pumper System ( although the Satellite deck guns could have been done better )
2. FDNY Ladder 10
3. West Havestraw Sutphen Pumper( love the blue color and accents around compartments )
4. Christmas White Mack CF
5. Philadelphia Diamond Plate
