I just received the Hogwell Land Rover and Rescue Boat and did a very short review of the outstanding model. Here is a direct link to the review:

They also do them in Police, and Coastguard livery.

Re: Hogwell Land Rover and Rescue Boat

And also in smaller scale 1/72 i think.
Patrick.

Re: Hogwell Land Rover and Rescue Boat

Perfectly correct there Patrick, that smaller scale may make for a nice boat & trailer for a firetruck?

Re: Hogwell Land Rover and Rescue Boat

Pete, have you seen a 1:43rd scale Police version of that boat? I have it in 1:72nd but have only seen the fire and coast guard versions in the larger scale. I believe the boat was modeled after the Boston Whaler - the small scale police boat in blue is almost identical to one operated by the Washington DC Metropolitan Police. It's pulled by a Suburban or a dual-wheeled Ford pickup - if I could get the blue police boat in 1:43rd scale it would make a great and easy MPD conversion.

Re: Hogwell Land Rover and Rescue Boat

OH!!!! if only that was in 1/32!

Re: Hogwell Land Rover and Rescue Boat

It appears from David's link that the police version is only available in 1:72nd - although these things are released in so many different versions that could change soon.
