Has anyone used the 1/50 pumper or the new squirt for a project ?? Do the markings come off with non-acetone nail polish remover ?? or do they strip on contact ??

Thinking about buying one to redecal but do want to waste $$$ if they aren't easy to remove.

One of these days - we should post our experiences with different diecast and what worked and what didn't. Road Champs Police Cars take a fair amount of abuse to their paint before being ruined. Nail Polish even Lacquer Thinner to remove markings with no ill effects..White Rose Police Cars totally different, one false move and its bare metal.

Would appreciate any info on the Athearns' suitability.

I have kit-bashed the 1/87 versions, & plan on doing a 1/50 version. I stripped the markings off a 1/50 Boston pumper, with no ill effects from the nail polish remover. They come off with about the same amount of work as a Corgi.
