When is the Illinois State Police version supposed to come out? Any pics?

The Illinois State Police car won't be out until late fall, maybe December. I don't think that ERTL has confirmed it will the ISP, although everyone (including me) assumes it will be because they've said it will be a state police car and Illinois follows the Blues Bros theme as the Mt. Prospect car does. The Mt. Prospect car was supposed to be out by now, but I'm seeing July as the new release date. Great news about the plain black and white version - I've already spent a few bucks obtaining Dodge "dog dish" wheels and an antenna kit and CHP decals to convert the Blues Bros version to a CHP slicktop, but wasn't sure how I'd get all the "dirt" off that ERTL sprayed all over the chrome and the windows. Of course, if the B&W has both sets of doors white like Mt. Prospect car does, it will still need some repainting to make a CHP version.

When I went to diecast direct, it said it was going to be Illinois State Police Car 10 from the Blues Brothers movie.

Scale 18.com have a picture of the ISP prototype (Dick, it is the Illinois State Police thankfully.) At this time they have the MPPD light bar on it. Hopefully thats just for the interim, and the proper light bar will be on the retail version. The black and white version is also pictured on the site and at Diecastmuscle.com.
