I wonder if YM will begin their 1:43rd scale line by releasing models they already made in 1:24th, or if they'll do entirely new ones? I know some collectors will complain about yet another scale for fire apparatus, but I've been hoping to see some American fire trucks in 1:43rd - that fits with the most popular (world-wide) scale for diecast cars, so they'll fit just right with many of my police cars. I know 1:50th is a more common truck collecting scale, and these will frustrate collectors of Corgi and NMM vintage trucks, but if they do the same types of subjects that YM has been doing to date, they'll be great additions - especially if they sell them at Yat Ming, rather than Corgi, prices!

I think it's safe to say that Yat-Ming and Hwy 61 have really raised the bar in the bigger scale apparatus.The 58 Seagrave looks great!

Only problem is size. The price/detail is GREAT! I just don't have the room.

I'm glad that someone else has the same problem i do no room.
