is somebody able to tell me facts about this crashtruck on military airfield Volkel / Netherlands?

The first red one on the left side. Is it an American LaFrance and how did it come to the Netherland?

The one on the left looks like an older Walter ex-military/air force P-type unit. Definitely not a LaFrance.

Isn't this an American LaFrance O-11?

Your right Jeff - my eyes are going bad

The one of the left is an O-10, circa 1950's. They were made by American LaFrance, under contract for the USAF and were not avaliable commercially. It was probably owned by the USAF in Germany, and was sold as surplus after serving it's useful life. You can find more info and pictures of all military fire vehicles at "www.dodfire.com"
