They are both pretty easy. Remove the screws and the truck slides apart and you have access to the bottom of the ladder. The cradle is a little tricky because of the glue. Cut away the back side like removing any other plastic part whre the plastic pins go through the body. Mine has alot of glue and some paint came off with the cradle when I popped it off.
