Matchbox has released a nifty, simple, black Caddy hearse. Smaller than 1:64 scale, I think. You may have to buy multiples, as the one that I picked up had weird scuffing and other roof imperfections.

Probably doesn't come close to the '60s Cadillac hearse that Hot Wheels, of all companies, released a few years ago. That was a masterpiece of small-scale diecast (other than the orange-painted headlights!). Couldn't understand why they never did an ambulance version of it.

Very nice model indeed. I have picked up several at local Targets, BUT it is a hard to find model--as is the AEC Routemaster Double Decker Bus. Both the most sought new molds of 2006.

Anyway....concerning your roof imperfection statement, I asked the same question on the MCCC Forum and got the following answer--It's actually an intential plug that was placed there to save a place for wiring for a roof mounted emergency light in case the vechicle also served as an ambulance. So Matchbox may already be making good on your request (although not in 2007). What we will see in 2007 is that Matchbox is going release the Dodge Charger (originally released in '05 in red and '06 in blue) as a police vechicle with roof lights and markings
