Troy, Yes, That is what he meant. You have to excuse John, We been shooting pics of fire trucks, and none of them were lime. He gets a little funny with low doses of lime. We are having a blast. A lot more to follow. Take care, Scottie
Yes firepics.net and what a time it was! Ron Arnow is a master tour operator. WE shot thing syou would not belive from antiques to brontos to Gators (the fire truck kind). Not only that but the food was FANTASTIK!!! That includes the gator at Gator Joes restaurant.
We even found in service Ward LA Frances, shot the end of Day glo in Clearwater and was OS for a transformer explosion!
We got several police cars too.
For those lucky enough to be invited, a most excellent time eith fine rigs and fine friends!!!
Twas indeed a great trip! The best part was that we went most of the trip without seeing too many lime rigs. Of course Lime Guy was going through withdrawals as Scottie mentioned. Thanks to Ron for all he did to make this trip such a success! As Lime Guy mentioned, we made great new friends and had fun with old ones.
I want to thank all who attended this year's Florida Winter Thaw. The compliments are greatly appreciated. Next year's Thaw will be even bigger and better. For those of you that enjoy viewing photos of fire apparatus of all kinds, go to www.firepics.net to see the pictures taken by the group.
