New HO Cab

There is a new HO resin fire cab on the market. Ralph Ratcliffe has cast a Ward LaFrance P80 cab.

Here is the link:

Here is the message from Ralph:
This is a cast resin cab, and interior that can be used to kitbash, or
scratchbuild a 1/87 scale model of this very popular series of fire
apparatus from the 60's, and 70's.
There's an e-mail link on the webpage, just drop me a message if you're
interested.
These are cast in Polytek 1510 urethane, the best stuff out there, in
my opinion.
This is not a complete kit! You'll need to scrounge up some details,
and make some parts, but with a little work, an excellent model can be
made.
This is the first, in a line of vintage fire truck cabs that I intend
to produce. The next one will be a 1974 Hahn.

I know Ralph has some other items besides the Hahn up his sleeve as well. To see what a master craftsman Ralph is search his photos in the gallery on the 1-87 vehicles site.

Bring on the HAHN

Re: New HO Cab

All I can say is WOW! What a fantastic model, and a master craftsman at that!

I, too, am looking forward to seeing the Hahn.

Too bad he doesn't sell his models preassembled and painted. I wouldn't even begin to attempt what he does.
