The 2007 ND State Firefighter's Convention will be held in Jamestown, ND, this coming May 30, June 1st & June 2nd...

Parade of Apparatus will be on Friday, June 1st, at approximately 4:00 PM.

My sincere thanks to 'Helpful' Henry who posts on this Board for donating and sending us NUMEROUS fire diecast models to use as prizes, etc., during the Convention.

If any of you are up and near the this area towards the end of the month, please stop in and visit...

And, if you'd like a Convention 'package' with all the information (golf dates, ladies' program, etc) please e-mail me and we'll get one right out to you.

We expect around 700 - 850 firefighters here for this; maybe more.

Yes, we will pose ALL the apparatus one-at-a-time in a park-like setting either before or after the parade for the fire apparatus photographers attending the Convention...

Our 'claims-to-fame' for Jamestown City FD are a 1937 American LaFrance Junior 400 Series Pumper and a 1948 American LaFrance 700 Series Pumper that's almost an FDNY look-alike (of that time period)...both of these pieces are in almost factory-new condition...

Now all we need is bright sunlight for the afternoon and we've got it made!
