Harry, I 100% agree with you that it's a nice-looking rig, that Code 3 would only have to make some minor changes to the mould. Unfortunately I can't see Code 3 doing this truck because it's not an FDNY ladder truck (remember, "FDNY Sells!"), and "minor" tooling changes cost money, something Code 3 doesn't seem willing to do right now.
I'd love to buy a non-FDNY Seagrave RM ladder truck (I already have FDNY Ladder 26), but us wanting a non-FDNY Seagrave ladder truck has fallen on Code 3's deaf ears for quite awhile now. Baltimore, Washington, DC, Hampstead....the list goes on and on, but I don't see any of these department's Seagrave RM's being modeled by Code 3 in the near future. Or maybe ever?!
Gettysburg, PA is also expecting a Rearmount with the same body and Marauder II cab to celebrate it's TWO HUNDRETH anniversary. This piece would also be....LIME.
