As this is being written, a 7 Alarm Fire is still DWH (Doubtful Will Hold) at an abandoned Hi-Rise Bank Building right across from Ground Zero in lower Manhattan.

Two Brothers from 5 Truck have already made the Supreme Sacrifice at the scene tonight; one has been positively identified, the other has not pending the notification of next of kin.

Needless to say, our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and the entire FDNY...

5 Truck's House (it also includes Engine 24 and Bn 2) also took a major hit on 9/11.

I hope the major news channels will have something on this later on tonight...

ONE FIREFIGHTER WAS FROM 24 ENGINE THE OTHER FROM 5 TRUCK. BOTH COMPANIES IN THE SAME FIREHOUSE,IN THE SOHO SECTION OF MANHATTEN .

Everything I've read mentions how that house had already lost 11 members on 9/11.

Regardless of what house they came from, still an incredibly sad/tragic story.
