Just thought I'd pass this on.I received (out of the clear blue) their catalog today in the mail. Much to my surprise, the prices on their fire and police items were very good.

Yeah, I thought those prices were too good to be true the first time I saw a Fairfield Mint catalog, and they were! Pretty sneaky - the per-payment amount is in big numbers and the "two payments of" or "three payments of" is in small print.

You have to watch all these offers, especially specialty catalogs .Corgi and other diecast is sometimes 30 to 40 percent higher. but that is because they cater to the general consumer and make them feel like these diecasts are few in number ,boy are they wrong
