Recently with the return of EMERGENCY! on the RTN Network, I enjoy the episodes where Truck 39 or Truck 127--the Crown Snorkels--are used.

I don't think there is a piece of apparatus that I'd want to see produced more than that by Code 3 than that one.

My question is, are any of those snorkels still in tact? I assume no longer in use, but at a museum, privately owned, other?

Anyone have pictures (past or present)?

How ya doin'... I placed a request for LA County Truck 127 (Crown Snorkel) with the research and development team back when Code 3 was doing the Emergency station set... I thought that it only made sense to add the ladder but I guess they didn't... Nice to see someone else was thinking along the same lines... Have a great day

This is a different John A.--not the Lime Guy.

Almost all the EMERGENCY episodes last week on RTN featured Truck 39 or Truck 127..... One was great--a paint factory fire where they had the boom up and monitor hitting the fire on the roof.

I would love to see a hard top Crown Pumper and of couse the Snorkel.........

You could have your own retro fire fighting LA County diorama between Engine 51 and Engine 16 Wards/Squad 51 and Engine 60.......

Would be cool......
