I was looking at the photos of the new release and it looks as if the rear wheels only have one tire per side. Looking at the previous E75 release, E75 appears the same. Has anyone bought one of the E75 models to know if it has a single or double rear tire? If Code 3 did release 201 with a single rear tire, this is a significant error for me. It would smack of too much cost cutting. I do like the model with the different stripes. It would set it apart enough on the shelf to justify buying. But with a single rear wheel I may reconsider.
I'm thinking it is the standard duals. The Code-3 site photo is poor, so I am attaching a link the the "FDNY Fire Zone" on E-Bay which, on my computer, displays a larger photo of this model. You have to look close, but I think you will agree, it looks like the dual wheels...
Just cut-n-paste this to your address bar and click the "enlarge" feature under the site photo.
Looking at the Code 3 workshop pics, which are shot dead-on front and rear, it looks like the back set are clearly duals (or at least double-thickness of the front!)
No need to panic guys....she has correct dual rear tires! The tires on this particular mold have always been thin, so its the photography that is creating the illusion and not what's actually on the model.
