Rescue 1 will remain in The Borough of Manhattan for the time being. Rescue 2, 3, 4 & 5 are the ones being replaced at this time...

Re: FDNY Heavy rescue

Hmmmm, Ferrara is building 5:

Holden, LA – Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., America’s premier custom fire apparatus manufacturer, has been awarded another large contract by the City of New York. Under the terms of the newest agreement, Ferrara will supply FDNY five heavy rescue trucks. The rescues will be built on Ferrara’s heavy duty Igniter chassis with a stainless steel tilt cab.

Re: FDNY Heavy rescue

One is probably going to be a Reserve.

Re: FDNY Heavy rescue

Just shows that Ferrara's donation to FDNY after 9/11 paid off.
