I checked with apparatus expert & author Walt McCall and he confirms that the aerials are gray if they were ordered with "standard colors". Also on page 137 of his "100 Years of American LaFrance" book are 2 FDNY 900Alf tillers shown in the plant with painted red exhaust stacks on the right side, if the photo is correct.
On "Emergency" yesterday there was an ALF Pacemaker series rear mount with a Cincinnati cab that had a gray aerial. So Code3 was right.

Code 3’s interpretation of the 900 series cab falls right in line with their rendition of the Century Series: CRAP!

Mr. OVM, Lets not go overboard here. Perhaps you never saw the original Corgi ALF tiller with the yellow ladder and big knob used to raise and lower the ladder. Perhaps there are mistakes on the truck but it is not as bad as you imply. Nit picking is easy, constructive comments take intelligents.
