The US-operated Evergreen Airlines Boeing 747 firefighting plane, the largest such aircraft in the world, made a couple of drops on the tragic, massive forest fire in Israel that has claimed 42 lives. This video from an Israeli news website shows some test drops by the plane, which can carry 95,000 liters (about 20,000 gallons) of fire retardant and water. I didn't know there was a 747 firefighting plane until I saw this article.
