I recently went to a ceremony for the inauguration of a memorial to remember the work of "les justes" who saved Jews during the sad period of occupation in France" and this action reminded me of you all, even if I didn't come to know you all.
And it reminded me, as well, of the fantastic time I spent among you.
My stay lasted 8 months between october 87 and july 88.
I was a french (and still are) volunteer, there wasn't many of us at the time, just me and my friend Kiki.
Is the Avidan family still among you, especially Lilah ?(sorry if I got the spelling of her name wrong).
On the Kibbutz I learned a lot about myself first of all (I was only 20 at the time), about the others, about sharing, since then my life haven't fallen into the trap of individualism ans materialism of our societies.
I hope the best for you all, and especialy during these turbulent times in Israel and unfortunately all over our world.
