Volunteer in KIBBUTZ MATZUVA in 1979, 40 years ago !
Hello and SHALOM KIBBUTZ MATZUVA !
I was a volunteer for 3 months in autumn of 1979 . I worked mostly as a banana-picker.
I had a great time in the KIBBUTZ and met many good people there, locals and volunteers from
all over the world. And i fell in love with a beautiful german girl by the name of TATA !
One thing i never forgot is that 2 volunteer-collegues and i set a new record in picking bananas
in one day. Therefor we received a SUPER LARGE LUNCH (big smile) in the Dining Room =( CHADAR OCHEL ...?)
The KIBBUTZ was a excellent experience in my life. it inspired me to travel on and learn more about cultures and people.
To all of you in the KIBBUTZ MATZUVA in 2019 : I wish you all the best for the future and i
like to express my gratitude for the hospitality in 1979 : TODA RABA !!!
My biggest wish for now and the future : HEVENU SHALOM ALECHEM !
