WPMI watching is actually rather intriguing.

and recently the Mobile Register had an article that Rebecca Wilson
was leaving.

"WPMI has seen a lot of turnover in the last five years, but things have been more stable lately. Original evening anchors Gary Mattingly and Annette Falwell allegedly had some behind-the-scenes issues while they were at the station, and both left. Original meteorologist Tammy Coburn went home to California; and original sports anchor Patrick Clark magically disappeared. Replacement anchors Natalie Tysdal, Jim Thomas, Joe Girvan, and Sherron Melton all also have left the station -- though Tysdal became extremely popular, and now works in Denver. Melton went to Miami, and Thomas took off to Columbus GA. Girvan now works alongside Mattingly in Gainesville, Florida. After all that change, WPMI hired two known personalities to sit at the desk: WKRG's Drexel Gilbert and Peter Albrecht, who co-anchored the 5pm newscast there."
