Talking about Yundi, none of the competitors in this competition had played Tchaikovsky concerto No. 1 as brilliantly as Yundi had done. He was even more brilliant than Horowitz. Listen to his third movement, especially near the end, you will certainly say wow!!!

I have just finished listening to the first prize winner Daniil Trifonov's playing of this concerto today from the You Tube. It took me hours to wait for the music to be loaded at You Tube nowadays. Although I haven't heard Yeol Eum Son's thorough playing of the same comcerto, I was able to get some idea of her playing from the often interrupted radio when she performed that night. I used to be able to listen to music non-stop at You Tube, but now I will have to wait for hours to get one piece of music loaded. Dark age has arrived, haha!
That is the trouble with this world that a really good pianist is kept in a cold refrigerator. When will Yundi be able to come out?
