Hi, My father owns 1954(?) MGTF 1500, the car was disassembled for restoration and other than a nearly complete restored rolling chassis the car is completely apart. Unfortunately my father has recently become ill and is forced to sell the car.
Although I possess the skills to restore this car I don’t have the time or the space to complete the restoration. The car currently resides in Ellington CT. So, long story short, I’m wondering if any members here can steer me toward an expert on this car to get some advice on its value and where to advertise to sell this car for my father.
A TF 1500 is worth some good money. Without looking at it, hard to give a fair price. The range is between 6K and 13K all depends on what has to be done and how complete the car is. Hemmings Motor News, the MG Experience or one of the Registers'(NAMGAR, etc) news-letters are good places to advertise.
