I have a Mary Scannell born 8/14/1831 in Kinsale, no townland listed. She was daughter of Edward Scannell and Mary nee Harrington. The records available currently defeat my attempts to expand this family. Can anyone assist?
I have reason to believe that other family connections from the Bandon River valley. Mary traveled to Merthyr Tydfil, Wales where she married a John Buckley whom I also suspect hails from the Bandon River Valley or very nearby.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your suggestion. I took a look and see there were Buckley in Preghane. That is great to know. Unfortunately I should have listed that the father of my John Buckley listed as marrying Mary Scannell in Wales 1852 is Michael Buckley. I would think Michael Buckley would be the HH I need from Griffiths. Thank you very much, greatly appreciated and my error of not including enough info.
