I am looking for the origin to a John BUCKLEY born abt 1829, son of Michael Buckley. He later married a Mary SCANNELL (born in Kinsale) in May 1852 in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. I highly suspect that John hailed from the Bandon River Valley or vicinity. My assumption of origin is based on a lot of associated data in Wales from sponsors, witnesses and other Buckley living nearby in Merthyr. Considering his wife was born in Kinsale and the HAYES connections mentioned in previous post I see some added reason to believe. The other Buckley in Merhyr is from Innishannon area.

Any assistance or fresh thoughts here would be appreciated.
