am searching for any information relating to these families. Christopher Fleming (1836-1891) of Multyfarnham is my starting point. He married a Rose Meehan around 1860-1875. They had 6 children (Christopher died aged 5, James, Mary Rose, Margaret and Marcella and possibly an Annie) who all emigrated to Brisbane, Australia between 1891 and 1903. Christopher is mentioned in Griffiths as both a landholder and lessor in the towns of Knightswood, Ballyboy and Brockagh around 1855.
