An ancestor of mine, Patrick Victory, a linen weaver, came to Barnsley,South Yorkshire, England and married there in 1813. According to the 1841 census, he was born somewhere in Ireland probably in about 1764. I notice the surname Victory occurs in the Longford area and wonder if anyone has any information? Are there Victorys in other Irish counties? Thank you
