John & Mary Sheridan McGivney had a son John born 1786 and later Thomas and both sons immigrated to US in 1810 after parents died. On list of parishes found Granad with many McGivneys and Sheridans. In the 1800 was there any place in Longford with Greeny or Creeny or that kind of name. Also John McGivney and Mary Sheridan both had brothers that were priests. Younger John was a weaver, 90% chance that father was too? Thanks for any reply.
